My day started with chest pain and pain down my left arm arrived by ambulance at mount nittany from there nothing but a joke. Took a EKG and blood never once checked my blood pressure. I guess the ambulance members did a good enough job took chest exray then put in a room to wait. And we sat there for almost 5 1/2 hours waiting for results but nothing came they were taking people that came into that little room after me so I said enough is enough went found nurse and told them to take the IV out because I was leaving they wouldn't even give us papers what a joke go to upmc if you want live!

Facilty fees... facilty fees...facility fees For a 45-minute appointment with a nurse practitioner, I was billed $790, of which more than half ($444) went to facility fees! As if this was not egregious enough, I recently found out that they charged both me and my insurance for some portion of the bill. I called their billing dept. and was told to expect a refund check soon (more than 2 months after their sweet double dip "mistake"). I have since canceled all my appointments at Mt. Nittany and will continue to do so as long as their facility fees remain in place. No wonder Mt Nittany Hospital is the 4th most profitable hospital in the entire state of Pennsylvania.

From the moment I entered the ER to admission then discharge, every single person was so professional, kind and well mannered. The ER doctor was very thorough and took my case very seriously. The consultants were on time and were able to really explain clearly. For me the highlight were the RNs, wow these ladies and gents were really nice inspite having to so much. I wasnt a local and I was never treated like I didnt belong. Thank you Mount Nittany for helping me get back to my vacation!

I recently gave birth to my beautiful daughter at Mount Nittany labor and deliver/ maternity wing this past week. This was my very first pregnancy. No words could describe how amazing and how knowledgeable that floor is. Dr. Shuman and the team of nurses really took care of me during my delivery. I felt very safe and cared for when I hemorrhaged after I delivered. They were all very supportive, attentive, and extremely caring. Every nurse and provider were consistently checking in on me and my newborn. They helped me so much during one of the most scariest times in my life and most vulnerable. I truly can’t find the words to thank them and everything they did for me and my family. Thank you so much Mount Nittany for making my first pregnancy experience feel so cared for and safe.

My family member had a surgery here with anesthesia. A nurse welcome us from 7 AM morning with warm smile, told family where to wait nicely. The waiting room is nice and has a coffee machine too. The patient had a very comfortable time as nurses explain things very carefully and guide the patient for the surgery preparation with good humor. The anesthesia doctor was very nice and humorous as well. Everyone was not only professional, but also kind, humorous, and interactive, making patients and their family comfortable. Also, I remember radiologists here are very nice. Everything went straightforward. Parking lot can be little busy in late morning time (9-10 AM), but you should be able to find a few spots.
